Milliners spend a lot of time thinking about how you can get a lot of size out of a hat while still having it be light enough to wear. This boater hat achieves the goal with a sheer horsehair extension on the brim of a medium size buntal straw. I used all my technical skills on this brim and she really floats around the head like a halo. The organdie roses are hand cut and dyed in the studio to acheive that almost glowing teal shade. The Pamplona is geared to get all the compliments! The brim is almost 6" wide and the crown is very shallow. The hat doesn't sit down on the head but attaches with a discreet elastic that goes under the hair behind the head.
