I created this sun hat with the beach in mind! The straw is panama and I kept the brim length as wide as I could. They are averaging between 5" and 6" for maximum sun protection. Each one has a grosgrain ribbon edge and band with straps that can be tied under the chin for a true Edie look or knotted under the hair in back to secure it against any beach breezes. This version has a unique crochet edge in rust. When traveling with a sun hat, I recommend tying the straps to the outside of your tote bag so it has some room to breath.
