This is probably the highest quality panama I have in the studio right now. The weave is so gorgeously tight with a lovely ventilated pattern around the crown. The edge of the brim is left "raw" with the ends kept on the woven lip for a fringey effect. I wanted to keep the trim simple on this one to let the beauty of the straw show. It has a lemon yellow grosgrain ribbon with neon tassles that passes through grommets on the side. The brim is around 3" wide and the headsize 23".
The value of a high quality panama is when you can put it through its paces and it still holds shape. I wore my version of this hat on a 3 week road trip and it got caught in multiple rain showers and bumped around the center console of the car for 4000 miles. I made sure it was in the proper shape while drying and she looks as good as new. This is the only one we have (besides mine) left so grab it if you want it!
